My steering wheel is loose and is moving in and out in every direction. What is causing this and how do I repair it?. Need help ASAP. Thanks, The Smockster

I'm going to assume you have tilt steering.
If so, you'll need to disassemble the steering column & tighten the four screws that hold the tilt mechanism together.
You'll need a steering wheel puller, a lock plate depresser & a tilt pin remover to do this job. Autozone *may* have these tools available in their loaner program. The URL below should show a decent diagram of the steering column.
