95 F-150 Eating Drive Belts

95 Ford F150, 300 In-Line Six, serpintine belt keeps getting chewed up/jumps track. All accessories (alternator, air pump, power steering, water pump, AC compressor, ...all look to be in-line. Recently installed new long block,...which may have something to do with it. This would seem to be a "no-brainer",...but I'm missing something. Any prior experiences and suggestions appreciated. Thanks.

Gotta be something out of whack. Saw a car in one of our clients'
garage the other day that had eaten a belt; harmonic balancer/crank pulley was the culprit.

Head to your Ford dealer & pick up a new idler pulley. Part #F6PZ-6K007-AA per TSB 97-4-8. Follow the directions included with the pulley.
