Won't Start Now

working on 1996 GMC jimmy 4.3ltr engine overheated replaced waterpump.{was leaking} WAS running real rough at an idle, When ilde turned up it runs smooth an has lots of power when taking off. I did a tune up everthing was originalparts. Veh. ran for 20 to 30 then shut down, NOW it wouldn't restart. DIST> is turning I'm not sure if veh. has a timing belt or chain.
THE VEH, has 111,000miles on it
