1996 s-10 blazer no heat problem

during our first cold, I found out that we were not getting heat into the car. The blower works okay but only cool air was coming out of vent with full heat temp adjust. Engine heat was lower than normal(160F) but that's expected. What do I need to check and what do I check with it to find out what's wrong?
Thanks

Warm up the vehicle. Feel both heater hoses going to the firewall.

If they are both hot, the problem is with the vent door inside the vehicle. If they are cold, it's a cooling system issue (thermostat, low coolant, etc).

Thanks again for your quick reply. I will test the items you mentioned and let you know what I find out.
