The bushing wore out on my driver's side door striker bolt so the door won't close properly. I bought a new bolt & bushing, but when I loosened the bolt, it feels like there is something on the inside of the panel that I can't see. If I take the bolt out, is there something that will fall and will I have to take the inside panel off in order to put the new bolt on?
Tried to find something out at fordvehicles.com, but that was basically useless and I can't seem to find it in my Chilton's.
Any help would be appreciated because I don't want to take it out until I know for sure.

The nut is encased to allow it to move to provide an adjustment.
It won't fall off if you remove the bolt.
