Power Steering

While driving, my power steering went out. I am still able to drive the car, of course the steering is difficult. No other problems are apparent and no dashboard warning lights are on. The car is a 1998 Infiniti Q45T. What's the diagnosis and the fix? Is this something I can do myself? Thanks

Find the source of the fluid leak/issue and correct it.

Could be the pump, leaky hoses, bad rack and pinion, etc.

1998 vehicle, premium one at that. I would be at the dealership (depending on the mileage) asking for some warranty consideration (even if out of warranty).

No 1998 vehicle at that price should have steering issues.
