How to find out Mdl of car

I know this is going to sound a little weird BUT

How would I be able to find out what Model Honda Civic we have?

we just received this car as a gift for my wife from her mom. and we cannot figure out what model it is

it is not noted on any paperwork at all.

Insurance company wasn't any help either

Two things to try:

1. Go to www.carfax.com and enter the VIN #, it may come back with the Civic flavor.

2. Take the VIN to the local dealer, they should be able to tell you from that.

According to Joe Cools's cyperparts pro link, the model possibilities for a 4-door in 1993 would be EX, EX-V, or LX.
The EX and LX show 1.5L engines and the EX-V is 1.6L.
