i have a 93 buick skylark i want to replace the front struts is this hard to do iv'e put on brakes and shocks and other things anybody out there who can tell me what this involves, thanks joeni

You need to have access to a spring compressor. You will need to compress your spring to get the old strut off of the spring and to put your new strut in. then reinstall the whole deal.

It's not too hard, but a good floor jack and a spring compressor would be a neccesity. A chilton or hayes manual whould be helpfull as well.

Autozone among other chains can rent you the needed puller.
