1991 Ford T- Bird/ auto/ a/c 3.8 litre. Idle is too high.

Clean the throtttle body with the Ford approved cleaner and if that fails, replace the Idle Air Control Valve.

You might also want to check for a vacuum leak. In particular, check the vacuum hose to the climate control where it tees off of the intake manifold. The vacuum hose is hard plastic, but there's a short rubber section that connects to the intake manifold. This section is prone to deteriorate & leak, which causes a high idle.
