Nissan Maxima climate control fan chirp

I have a 1997 Nissan Maxima with Automatic climate control. When the fan is on the lowest position there is a constant chirping coming from the blower motor. When the fan is operating at a higher speed or is turned off the noise stops, so I know this is the culprit. The noise is constant, but not very loud, just more of an annoyance. My question is: Is this something I can get rid of myself, and if so, how?, or will I have to take it to a mechanic or dealership to have this fixed? I bought the car used and it has 67,000 miles on it, so it's not under warranty. Does anyone have any good ideas for me?

Time for a new blower motor. Purchase either a Nissan motor or an AC Delco(if available) as there are alot of junk motors on the market for cheap prices. You can find Nissan parts on the web at substantial discounts.
