if you are referring to crankshaft bolt i believe you remove it as normal which would be counter clockwise when looking at the bolt, you may have to use an impact wrench on it they are usually tight and would be hard to remove by hand.

Go to any parts store and rent a puller for the balancer. You will need it. Also, there are tools used to hold the balancer while you remove it.

The Honda balancer is a slip-fit. No puller is needed. You WILL need a special tool to hold the balancer when removing the bolt if you don't have access to a VERY STRONG impact wrench.

Autozone *may* have this tool in their tool loan program. If not, you can buy one from any tool distributor or you can make one from plumbing fittings if you're handy w/ a welder.
