ignition timing of 92 MPV
I have a 92 MPV, 3.0, 2w/drive that I want to set the timing for. I see the #10, few tick marks and a T on the engine side and a single notch on the pulley while I aim the timing light on it. I would like to know where should I align the pulley mark with the stationary marks. I just got a free timing light and the Van which is out of timing.

Do not mess with the timing unless base timing was set wrong due to the timing belt snapping or slipping.
Adjusting the timing is futile and gains you zero benefit on a computer controlled vehicle like this. You'll do more harm than good.

Too late for not messing with the timing because before my bro game me the Van, his buddy already tried to set it without using a timing light. Now it does not sound right, consumes too much gas and lacks power.
