fan belt 98 Ford

My alternator on my 98 Ford E250 went. I was able to remove it, and install a new one, but I can't see how to create enough slack on the belt to reinstall. Normally there is a slotted bracket on one of the pulleys for adjusting the tension, but I don't see that anywhere. Does anyone know which pulley is the adjustable one? And is there a special tool for this?
Thank you,

Your van would have a spring loaded spring tensioner on it.Alot of times on these vans, they're toward the bottom but i'm not sure on this year model. Just use a wrench or a socket and ratchet to take the tension off the belt.

Thanks Fordtech. I found it this morning. I had tried to move it by hand originally, then dismissed it as being the tension pulley. But after using a wrench, I was able to move it.

Thanks again.
