check the air filter and change if needed,If engine is overcooling , it will cause computer to squirt more quantities of fuel like a cold start situation. How is the temp guage reading?Check the connections on the temperature sensor. The temp. sensor is on the thermostat housing and is copper colored..Check for a bent or dirty connector contact and check for a broken wire there. That sensor is the major cause of the computer giving a rich mixture because if it goes bad then it gives a wrong voltage to the computer which the computer may interpret as a cold antifreeze when the engine is hot and therefore command a richer mixture because it thinks it is a cold engine start.Cold antifreeze gives 0 volts across the two wires and hot engine 5 volts. These are the voltages the computer interprets as cold or hot engine.
