1991 Accord Auto Transmission slips after warming up

I have a 1991 Honda Accord 4LX 4 door w/ Automatic transmission w/200,000 miles on it. I have changed the transmission fluids regularly.

When the car is cool and has not been running it will start and drive fine as usual. After about 15 minutes of driving I can start to notice that the transmission feels like it is slipping (like a manual clutch that is worn out). If I come to a stop after I feel this, the transmission will not move the car but the engine will rev up.

Once the car cools back down it runs again.

Any suggestions as to what the problem may be?

Also, do Honda Accord automatics have a transmission filter or some sort of filtration device?

thanks for your great help.

Have it checked professionally, sounds like internal failure.

I believe Hondas do not have any serviceable filter on their trannies.
