Bronco II flooding on startup

Hello, I have a 87 Ford Bronco II. It originally had a 2.9 in it but I put a 3.0 from an Aerostar in it. It runs fine after it warms up but when starting I have to open the throttle for it to start and it usually floods itself. Hoping someone could give me an idea if it could be a sensor. It is still running on the 2.9 computer, I just rewired it for the injectors, but after it warms up it runs fine. Thanks for any help!

Tough to say. The computers/programs/fuel mapping are likely totally different, and unless you have a way to custom program the computer to match both the electronics of the Bronco and the Aerostar, you're likely to always have this problem.

The 3.0 and the 2.9 are totally different animals. Try a 3.0 Aerostar computer for starters, but I don't think it's going to net you much.
