Angry No electrical

This is for a
1989 Nissan PathFinder XE V6

Current Problem:
The ODOMeter, Fuel Guage, Turn Signals, Hazard Lights, Cruise Control, Timer for Back WindShield and lighter are not functioning.
However the brake lights, interior light and SpeedOmeter are OK.

Cause of Problem:
Some of the wires (in a bundle) near the transmission fluid check ended up sitting on the exhaust. After melting something must have shorted. I have repaired the melted wires, checked all the fuses I could find. Oh I also asked the Nissian dealer parts guy, but he was no help!

Could this be a relay, regulator or what?

Please Help

Thanks

Something is still damaged somewhere as a result of the exhaust burning those components.

Check all fuses and breakers thoroughly. Before you do that, go out and get yourself the OEM service manual so you know how the wiring is laid out and what goes to what.

Did you check all of the fusible links? Nissan loves them.... If should also check each sensor that's not working, it possible it got damaged during the ...burning. Also, some of the indicators are low voltage (mvolts), if for some reason a 12V wire came in contact with a low voltage wire the low voltage device was probably damaged.
