96 Mustang GT

I have a 1996 Mustang GT conv. with a 4.6 v8 engine. The car has just over 100k on it and overall runs quite well.As of resently it has started to miss a bit while under a load and then smooth out and run fine. The car has a manual trans and sometimes it will miss a little on each shift. Sometimes it will even backfire if the load is large and the RPM is down. I changed the plugs around 6 months ago. Got any ideas guys? Kent

probably a bad plug wire if you do change them you should also look inside the plugwire after removing from spark plug and look for any carbon tracks if any found you should change the sparkplug again on that cylinder to prevent a carbon track from returning on the new plug wire.
