Dodge D150 2 wheel drive pulling

I have made a earlier post about my trucks steering wheel turning to the right real hard when I took hand of of wheel. It is a 84 dodge d150 2 wheel drive. Well I took it to a allignment shop and they said it was the A arm bracket that it had rusted thru and broke they also said if I replace one should do the other because it is in bad shape to. They said it would be about $300 to fix this using used A arm brackets and putting in new bushings and bearings. Does this sound correct to anyone who knows about this kind of problem thanks for any help Steve

well if the a arm has rusted away it is something that should be repaired, nothing i have heard of before but it is an old truck and in the right climate about anything can rust away.

Sounds plausible. Early Chrysler models use to have K frames that rotted. I guess they never licked this problem. LOL.

Sounds pretty reasonable for both sides with parts and labor.
