WHAT COULD I GET TO LOWER OR LEVEL MY TRUCK IN THE REAR.WHAT IS THE BEST WAY AND HOW HARD IS IT!(1998 CHEV TRUCK)

A lift kit is what you want. But the question is why unless you want to drive it off road.

There are numerous manufacturers of this type of equipment. Try google.com to search for them.

take the small leaf spring out and that should make it level.but why bother keep it original

One point to consider is if you change the ride height you also change pinion angle.This could cause some nasty driveline vibrations or launch shudder,or wear on bearings or u- joints.
