i have a 1987 s10 blazer with a 2.8 liter engine it's blowed i was wanting to put a 4.3 liter v6 back in it but need to know will it bolt to my motor mounts and will it bolt up to transmission it is a automatic not sure what kind would an 88 model 4.3 liter work hope u can help me out thanks

It will probably bolt right in as they used a 4.3 and a 2.8 starting around 1988.

But, you will have to upgrade the computer, wiring, brakes, suspension and everything that's around it for safe and effective use in the vehicle.

Not worth it. Put a 2.8 back in there from GM Goodwrench or a reliable rebuilt engine company. Otherwise, pitch the truck for one with a 4.3 already installed in it.
