Removing Door Panel - 1999 Contour

Anybody with any tips on getting those little nubins that cover the screws in the door panels off? Especially the ones inside the door handle cup, like where the release lever and door lock is? I have poked and prodded my way to getting the other ones off, but there isn't a whole lot of room to work in there, and I just wondered if anyone maybe had some insight. Thanks.

Check autolibrary.org through "The Basics" below or consult an OEM service manual.

I have consulted a service manual, and it just says that "you have to take them off", I was just wondering if anyone had any tips, maybe from experience, on exactly how to accomplish this......

Did you look at Autolibrary though? Lots of good information in there.

I usually use a small 90 degree angled pick that i bought off the snap-on tools truck. Many parts stores also have these ,although you might have to buy a set.I've also used a small pocket screwdriver when the pic wasn't available, but it's a lot harder to get at them.
