Unhappy power window repair

My power window on my 98 mustang is not working correctly. When it comes up the back portion comes faster than the front portion of the window and the front portion (nearest to the windshield) moves up and in instead of straight up. We have been able to get the plastic panel off but we can't figure out what to do next. Any tips?

It is probably a sticky track. Ford sells something called "Mini Vent Lube" which is handy for lubricating the tracks in the door. Give that a whirl.

Barring that, it may have fallen off the track or has something wrong with the regulator.

Have a look at alldata.com to be sure there are no bulletins/recalls that pertain to this problem.
