2002 Durango optional external multi disc changer question

A question for you dealer guys or Durango owners...I have the radio that can control a remote multi disc changer. Does anyone know if I were to buy a changer from a recycler, would the wiring harness be there or would I start from scratch? Where would the factory changer have been mounted? The manual makes reference to controlling it but they don't tell you where it would be.

Why would you want to put junk in a new truck?

Just buy a changer from Crutchfield.com and it will come with, or you can buy the right adapters. The only way I would buy used like that is if the person upgraded the radio and had the unit brand new basically "unused".

If your radio is stock, I believe that the only multi disc changer it can control is one that comes over a Dodge parts counter, or, out of a wreck that would have the same radio as yours.
