Older Dodge Caravan windows

I have had several Caravans, and they all seem to have the same problem in the driver and passenger door windows. As they get older, the windows get harder and harder to close. Opening them remains normal. Is there a fix for this, or do I have to replace the window mechanisms. Thanks for any info.

Have you tried to lubricate both the slide tracks/channels and also the window mechanisms?

First place I'd start .

Ive had to service the window slide tracks 3 times since 1985 when I bought my minivan, so about once every 6 years or so. I'm not sure what is best to lubticate them. I useb teflon bicycle lube because it was handy. Joe or others can maybe recommend the proper lube. Taking off the door panel and doing the servicing is easy. A DIY task. jeff

Some liquid graphite would work or Ford markets something called "MiniVent Lube" which is great for this too.
