I have checked into another manual, I did test the coil as suggested but instead of a blue/white spark i recevied a yellow spark does this mean there is a problem? I also would like to know if i should try replacing the rotor and cap and all the eletic inside to see if this is the problem? Tammyle

are you checking for spark when the engine will not start?
are you checking it at the coil or at the plug usualy color of the spark isnt as important as long as its strong enough to jump atleast a 1/4 inch gap at the plug it is probably fine, if you are checking it at the coil you should also check at the plug to insure the rotor and cap, coil wire , plug wire is carrying the spark to the desired plug.

One post on a given vehicle please. Continuity is lost when you split posts on the same vehicle and problem.

Suggest you start with the links below in my signature file.
