Replacing head unit

Does anyone know how I can get the broken cassette/radio out of my 95 Ford Windstar? I have a new head unit ready but a simple phillips or flat head won't unscrew the old one and I don't want to rip it out and damage something. any ideas?

Most Ford radios have four small holes at each corner. Walmart and other places sell the tool that fits in those holes and unlocks the tabs.

The radio or head unit will just slide out at this point. Crutchfield.com among others can supply an OEM type harness to connect your radio to the factory harness without cutting.
