Pathfinder Rear Hatch Lifts

Hello,

I have recently purchased a set of hydraulic lifts for the rear hatch of my '95 Nissan Pathfinder. I have attempted to follow the instructions on installing these new lifts without any success.
It seems the size of the ball on the actual hatch and the socket where it should fit in the lift does not match. Unless I am doing something wrong, has anyone changed out hatch lifts similiar to this? I would appreciate any help, thanks a bunch.

Joey

if you know you have the right supports for your hatch .you may have to pull the little metal clip out a little.you will to put some pressure on them to snap on.

I agree with Fordman. Sure you have the right parts?
