Spark Plug wires

I just replaced the spark plugs and wires on my f150. The factory wires where hard as hell to get off. The new wires in combination with the new plugs come off with only a moderate tug. No where near as hard as the factory set. Is it supposed to be like that? Or does the wire boot eventually constrict harder around the plug tip?

thanks

As long as you hear the boot "click" on both the distributor and spark plug side, it's on tight and won't pop off.

What brand of wires did you use?

Autolite or something like that. The guy at the counter said they were OEM or something to that effect.

Motorcraft is the OEM wire set, but those are made for Ford.

Either way, as long as they click, it should be fine.
