Question 97 Ford explorer tune up

I have a 1997 Ford Explorer 6cyl 4.0 SOHC with 100,000 miles. The dealer tells me it is time to change the 100,000 mile Spark Plugs. He says I will need to set aside 3 hours for shop time plus parts because of the type of plug and requirement of replacement. OK -- I knew the plugs were special, but 3 hours??
Anybody out there been down this road??? Any advice would be MOST appreciated. -- Bugs

i would check with another dealer or independent shop it shouldnt take 3 hours to replace plugs more like an hour if thats all they are planning on doing to it.

I agree..Just did 1 today, took about 35 minutes..If you have skinny arms, and wobble sockets, it's not a problem...
