Thermostat On A 96 Cavalier 2.2

Hello;
My sister has a 96 Cavalier with a 2.2 litre
engine. She has asked me to drive to her place
(25 miles) to replace her thermostat. Could someone please give me a heads up as to where the
thermostat is located on this vehicle. I dont
now the location and would appreciate any feedback
on where to look. Thank you in advance!

Thermostat should be in a housing on the lower radiator hose. Easy to see. Buy a new "0" ring gasket also. If you need additional coolant, use dex-cool antifreeze only.

Are you sure about the lower radiator hose? I always thought the upper radiator hose attached to the thermostat housing.
