Install power windows in a ford escort

I had my door smashed on my escort. I found a good deal on a couple of doors, but with power locks. I did not have power locks originally. My question is: Is the actual doors add the power harness all I need to get the windows on these salvaged doors working?? thanks ahead

It is probably more trouble than it's worth. You have to get all the harnesses, breakers, wiring, switches, actuators, etc.

There is a connector already on the current harness of my car that matches the the plug on the salvaged door. I thought all the parts were in the door???

ie.

switch/motor in door -->>> power harness -->> plug near fuse box..??

Thanks for your help...

motor, parts and switches are part of door and/or door panel..
Control modules, fuses, circuit breakers, and relays are not.....

Not all autos use all of the above and some lines are manufactured for power and non power......You'll have to do some homework and find if escorts are all manufactured with components in place or whether you'll need to add any of the above....Call and ask a parts salesman at a dealership.......It may be worth doing even with a few other parts required......First check you manual for location of fuses and circuit breakers for the locks and windows and check whether they are either in the car or thier is a location in the car for them.

Or get EVERYTHING from the system from a junked Escort. That way you'll have all the needed parts.
