Jack up the car, remove the wheel, support the car with stands. The nuts and studs are wasted, so don't worry if you break them.

Take off the brake caliper, rotors. Now you'll have what's left of the stud showing. Using a lump hammer, pound on the stud and knock out what is left. It will fall out.

Go to the parts store and buy new studs and nuts. Get a couple of extra nuts, as you might ruin them. Get the studs where the back sides are notched out---Dorman makes ones like this so they clear the hub when you install them.

Using the nuts, tighten them until they draw in the new studs all the way. The new studs are properly installed when from the backside, no grooves (serrations) show on the back side.

Reassemble the brakes and put the wheel on---done
