engine missing at idle

I have a 1994 Chevy impala ss and as I am coming to a stop, or when taking off from a stop, the engine seems to lug or miss between 0-3 miles an hour. Once I come to a complete stop, or accelerate past 3 mph the engine seems to run fine. Any thoughts on what this could be and how I can remedy this problem?

I would pull the codes off the computer first. Just off the top of my head, maybe plugs wires or a torque converter lockup problem in the tranny?

Water pump ever been replaced? The water pump and optispark go hand in hand on the LT1 350.

The water pump when it goes bad wipes out the Optispark ($$$$) and that is common.

Any mods to the car?
