Car problems

We already know that my wife needs a new S-belt on her 94 Dodge Shadow. Lately my wife has been complaining of the car does not heat up very fast. She drives about 30 minutes to work each day, and it takes almost the whole way there before the car warms up.

Can the S-belt be the cause of this, or is something else wrong?

likely a bad thermostat, have the cooling system checked for leaks and new thermostat installed and system flushed. if it needs a new belt might as well do that at the same time whether than taking a chance on it breaking which could cause other problems.
