Unhappy Heater And Blower

i HAVE A 1983 GM COUPE DE VILLE CADALLIC, IT HAD ALOT OF LEAKS AROUND THE WINSHEILD WHICH I HAD FIXED, SO NEEDLESSS TO SAY THE INTERIOR WAS QUITE WET. NOW MY HEATER AND BLOWER IS SCREWED UP. SOMETIMES IT WORKS AND SOMTIMES IT DOSENT.I LOOKED AT THE FUSE PANEL UNERNEATH THE STEERING COLUM DIDNT SEE THE FUSE SLOT TO CHECK FUSE WHERE IS IT AND WHAT IS THE PROBLEM WITH THE HEATER AND BLOWER , SHORT OR LOOSE WIRE ?

If you had water leak into the fuse block you should replace all the fuses and clean the sockets they fit into with the battery disconnected. You might have alot of corrosion starting there. Have you checked out the actual blower motor itself? It may have bad bearings? Try looking at your igntion switch and wiring connector on it for melted or corroded connections.
