Belts,86 Ford Tempo

I am changing the three belts on my 1986 Ford Tempo,Alternator,Power steering, Air,.I would like to know if i have to remove the Moter mount to get at lower belts. The ALT belt is right on top but the other two ,Serpentine belt and other V-Belt seem to be under moter mount. If any on has do this job i would appricate any heplfull input. Also if i do have to remove the mount do i have to put small jack under Moter to stop it from droping. 1986 ,Ford Tempo,2.3, Front wheel Drive,Auto Tran.

no you dont have to remove the motor mount but it might make it easier to get to the belts if you wanted to you would need to put a jack underneath the engine to support it, i think you may be forgetting the water pump belt that is easier to get to from working underneath the vehicle.

I agree with BeJay. Check autolibrary.org below as well.
