Ford F150 Water Pump

Ok, i have a 1990 Ford F150 5.0L. I am trying to install a new water pump. The bolts that go through the water pump and the timing cover are not wanting to come out. They appear to be binding in the middle. I have never run into this before. Can anyone tell me a way to get them out.. or do i just break them off and remove the timing cover and the whole nine yards. Any info would be a great help

Have you tried to shoot them good with PB blaster before cracking them loose?

I've seen vehicles where this happens before. The bolts turn to dust .

It might not be a bad idea to remove the timing cover and inspect the timing chain at this age/mileage anyhow .
