Programming a keyless entry remote for a 1995 Toyota Avalon XLS

I recently purchased a 1995 Avalon XLS but it only came with one
keyless entry remote. I purchased a second one on EBAY having the same FCC ID and TRW ISC. Can anyone provide me with instructions on how to program the second remote or do I have to take it to a dealer?

Check autolibrary.org. There are also sites that have this information, depending on the model. A 25 dollar alldata.com subscription would also work.

In the trunk on the drivers side behind the trim panel (on the brace) you will find the lamp failure relay.

Disconnect the plug, at one end of the plug you will find a black wire and a white/black stripe. Connect the two together, the locks will cycle and the trunk latch will activate. Press one of the buttons on the remote. The locks will cycle to confirm, press one of the buttons on the old remote, the locks will cycle to confirm.
