A leak in the brake hydraulics which must be fixed immediately without delay.

Anything from worn shoes to leaky calipers to busted brake lines to a bad master cylinder can cause a fluid leak.

Get it professionally serviced without delay.

Like Joe said, worn brake pads can consume losts of brake fluid.
