update-mazda626-still won't start

On my '95 Mazda 626...I've replaced the battery & change the clamps on the battery cable but the car still won't start.
When I turn the key, nothing happens. The starter won't even turn. No sound, just the clicking of the key. I tried to jump it and I get the same result.
Please advice.

Keep all posts together on the same vehicle. Use the reply button.

As I noted in the prior post, tap on the starter and see if it starts. If it does, wasted starter. Replace it with a rebuilt. You may also have a poor connection at the starter and body ground side (likely).
