power window broken

I have a '97 Chevy Lumina with power windows. The driver's side window is down and it won't raise. The other 3 windows are fine (it isn't a fuse). You can tell that there is a connection when the button is pushed back to lower the window, but no connection is made when the button is pushed forward to raise the window. I removed the little cover and toyed with the switch, but to no avail. I don't want to leave the window down over night, so does anyone have ideas on how to get it up?

Replace the switch, it sounds faulty.

Rap on the door panel with your hand while pushing on the switch. It may jar it back into action.
