Mirror

Darnest thing. It was really cold one day and someone walked by and bumped the mirror on my car. The mirror part fell out of the housing it is in (97 Olds Cutlass). Since it is all in one piece I just need to put it back on.

How do I mount the mirror back onto the housing again?

Alot are in with just silicone some have clips. If the clips are broke you should be able to get them at the dealer.

If the glass fell of the plastic housing, glue it.

If the glass and the housing popped out, try to snap it back. If not, the ball pivots are broken. In most cases you can buy those from a GM dealer. See the parts dept.

Thanks. It is the glass that fell out of the plastic housing. Is it just "mirror Glue" I ask for at the GM dealer?

You could probably glue it with Crazy Glue or another strong adhesive and it would be fine.
