Spark Plug Compatibility
Hello All ... any help on this would be appreciated.
I've recently changed the spark plugs on my 92 Accord. The recommended spark plugs (one of three different types) are the NGK ZFR5F-11. In place of these I am using the ZFR5FIX-11 plugs (Iridium Tips). Is there any problem with using these plugs? I've heard they burn hotter?
Any help would be great.

Same plug to my knowledge, just more "hype" and cost on the ones you bought. You won't see a difference on that car except in your wallet---I agree with Darrell.
No harm done, but no real benefit either. You could call NGK and ask them to be sure.
