Question Pete Jackson Gears

Hi all,
I was hoping you all could answer a question for me. I have a 94 GMC 1500 4x4 5.7 liter 5 speed. I am looking to install a pete Jackson gear drive and am wondering if anyone knows if a roller cam was ever an option for my model truck. I think it was only for the LT1 but would like a second opinion. Here are the two options that they offer.

Pete Jackson Gears - (PJG-350-91CN)
262-400 Small Block Chevy

Pete Jackson Gears - (PJG-350-91CN)
305, 350 with factory roller cam (exc. 1992-up LT1)

Thanks in advance,

Brian

Big waste of time. Not many motors need gear drive. If you're driving it on the street, you don't need gear drive. That's for wild motors, and yours is not likely one of them.

There's no need for that. They are noisy and troublesome. A good roller timing chain set from Cloyes or one of the aftermarket companies would be more than enough.
