Thumbs down VN Commodore Hard starting & miss firing when cold

1990 Holden VN Commodore has hard starting when cold and once running, miss fires a lot when cold and stops running, but also missing when hot. Spark on all cylinders while cranking. RPM slows down briefly as each spark plug lead is disconnected while engine is warm and running. Any Ideas?

No, we don't get that model here in the States. You have to be more specific on the engine type and vehicle specifics.

Start with my "The Basics" post below and tell us what you find.

Here's my 2 cents worth.

Carburetored...Check the choke operation and the choke pull off if equipped.

Fuel injected...check the fuel pressure.

Either one...replace the spark plugs, wires cap and rotor to start with and all filters.
