what happened to the "Autolibrary.org link"?

Link dead the last couple of days. Very useful... is it gone now?
Always thought it was too good to be true.

"Try this Autolibrary.org link for service manual information. (You may have to cut and paste it to your browser's window):

http://www.cybrrpartspro.com/Manual...odelLookup.html "

Was good while it lasted, but gone .

Time to fire up the library card to see if the library has your manual or pony up for a 25 dollar yearly Alldata.com subscription, or the best option, the OEM service manual.

I own manuals for my vehicles... however, when helping friends... the autolibrary deal was invaluable.

i.e. other day I had to pull codes on my GF's sable (poor girl I know).

sigh

Now you know what to get her for Christmas . LOL

"Thanks Honey. Just what I wanted! My very own OEM Ford repair manual for the Sable. How thoughtful!!!"

I don't envy the poor lady especially if it is a 3.8L (gasket blower).

Appears to be back online... life is good again.

BTW, poor girl with the Sable. 95 80K She is putting herself through grad school right now.

She was talking about new cars the other day and I explained to her that first of all she can't afford it.... second, the money for a car payment and higher insurance premium would cover maintenence just fine.

Then I drove the thing. The poor poor girl.

That's our job as guys is to take care of their rides . LOL. It's the gentmanly thing to do .

My commuter car in graduate school (Yes, I went too ) was the 1984 Oldsmobile Delta 88 I still drive . I've picked up a few cars between then and when I graduated, but I still have the Olds!

Yes Autolibrary.org is back. For how long, I don't know
