Unhappy Engine Cooling

This has me going around in circles! My son has a 1994 Chevy P30 Van with a 5.7 engine. The problem is that the service engine light comes on and then the automatic transmission starts bang-shifting which is common on the chevy transmission with an overheat condition. He would release the radiator cap which would end up with a boil-over. The coolant would be replaced, everything would cool down and operate normal. The cooling system has been checked and the thermostat was replaced 6 months ago to no avail.

Over the past week the engine froze up due to another problem
of trying to run without oil.

The engine, radiator & hoses were replaced (new Jasper engine and a new modine radiator) and the problem is still here!

??????????????????????????????

Lightbulb

just a suggestion u might want to try to check your condenser to see if it is clogged. If clogged it wouldnt let air get in. just a suggestion though.

Was the water pump changed? How's the fan clutch? Was the radiator boiled out? Why was the engine changed?

Sounds fishy to me that the engine just grenaded like that!
