Scuffed up bumper

I just recently scuffed up the bumper on my car. The bumper is plastic. There are some paint marks on the bumper as well as the plastic itself is scaped up a bit.

I was wondering if someone could sugest a "do it myself" way of fixing this or will I have to resort to a professional?

If it tore into the plastic and took small shavings out---professional help required.

If it's just paint scuffs, compound will take them out.

What type of compound would you recommend?

3M Polishing compound for fine scratches and 3M Rubbing compound for heavier ones.
