Car wont start

Car wont start

My car is a 92 honda civic hatchback and this morning it wont start. the engine sounds like it wants to start makes noise but wont i can also hear a click sound. it has gas in it and i just drove it fine last night. wat could be wrong and how can i fix?

I would try another battery. Will it jump start?

yes it jumped started but i drove it for about 20 min after that then let it sit 4 a half hour and i had to jump it again. then drove home sat for at least 1.5 hr ands it started. is my problem over or just beginng? how do i know if i need a new battery the cheapest way

Once again, as instructed, do an alternator output test as noted in my "The Basics" below.

If you lack the equipment to do it, bring it to a parts store (such as Autozone) and they will diagnose the problem free of charge in most cases.
